I had a wisdom tooth extraction done last Thursday.
I've got to get ready and trek to Scarborough Town Centre. Funny, but a trip of this distance in, say, Europe, might very well land you smack dab in the middle of another country lol. I have to drop off those blessed forms, then come the other way, to Leaside, to visit the home-care place to pick up my new mask.
I've been awfully tired the past few days. I suspect not sleeping as soundly as I should is, in part, due to the fact I cannot wear the mask. The CPAP machine *increases* the pressure in my mouth, nose and throat, and could very well displace the blood clot in the extraction site. And on the other hand, I think I have what you might consider a "major injury" in the extraction site itself. Apparently the root was very wide, and took a LOT of wiggling to free from the bone. When one is healing it can take a lot out of you.
I will be going back to full CPAP therapy tonight, I think the clot is firm now. I just want to start feeling BETTER again! It's hard to listen to your body when there's work to be done! *Grrr*
